The Biden/Harris ticket is the most progressive democratic platform ever. Is it the platform a lot of us want? No. Is it still following the rules set down by an establishment built to harm marginalized people? Yes. However...
Harris and Biden got pushed further left than anyone would have ever imagined 4 years ago and it's because of the *work* put in by activism across the country. In CA alone, Harris got pushed by marginalized people to even be a viable primary candidate out of her *own* state
All that means is that the work being put in makes and has made a difference in politics in this country. So what happens now?
Well, if Biden/Harris wins, then those same activists and planners and disruptors are going to be fighting to push them towards doing what's right throughout their years in the White House. And if Biden/Harris don't answer the calls, then the fight becomes replacing them
The fight means continuing even if we don't get the results we want. If you want AOC or whatever in 4 or 8 years then there is a massive amount of work to do. And that work includes continuing to fight even after 45 is gone
I just don't have patience for refusing to see the work that has been done and the work left to do. Because spoiler alert: you gonna have to fight EVERY person who enters the White House.
If you're looking at this and saying you quit or you give up on trying to fight then you weren't really about it in the first place.
