"Mad W0man" ~ F0lkl0re

A Za¥n/Z*rry perspective
⚠️ FAIR WARNING ⚠️

This thread is only and only for Zarr¡es. That too Zarr¡es who have an open mind to accept a difference in opinion. You can disagree. I'm trying to be as respectful as I can be by simply putting this analysis here and by giving a platform to discuss.
Hurting or offending anyone is not my intention here. I know everyone has a favourite and no one will take their fav getting bashed. So I'm not being disrespectful to any fandom or celeb. As usual, putting out what I observed. Kindly go through this before going further. 👇
So basically I want a matured audience under this thread. Even after all this, you're gonna come for my neck, well.. let's not mess it up shall we?

Sorry for being all dramatic because the first time I tried to put it and it was fucked up. I don't want that for a second time❤️
So yeah.. we're just finding some songs in Folklore which might have Z/Z*rry narrative since we all adamantly believe it's Z who is WB. So the song Mad W*man caught our attention! Let's dive into this one now.
Mad W*man (MW) by T.S in F*lkl*re is the 12th track in there. The people who think the album is a straight relationship narrative claim that it's about a mad w*man who actually caught her man cheating on her and the man is singing about this woman. Their take. I respect that.
Well, for me this album is a Z*rry narrative from Z's pov. Since nothing about Z*rry is "straight" we definitely divulged from this general take and tried a different perspective. So how does Mad W*man fit into this Z/Z*rry reference? Here goes nothing!
Imo MW is about a certain relationship Z had had in his past. Yes, that certain relationship being none other than he had with Perr¡e Edw*rds! I already told you MTR was Z's side of story on leaving the band. Just like that MW is also Z's take on his "relationship" with P/Z*rry.
Analysing verse by verse. I'm only looking through the lyrics that will give you a general idea about who the song is about and what the theme of the song is. I'm not touching lyrics with deep/dark meaning because it'll be a mess. My truth doesn't have to be your truth.
"What do you sing on your drive back home?"
P is a singer by profession. Everyone knows that. But the person is asking her what does she sing on her drive back HOME? Does the neighbor smile at this woman or she chooses to say "fuck you forever"?
Phew! That's one pissed neighbor y'all! 😂 Here the writer emphasizes the neighbour is pretty much pissed with the woman, that she's taking a stand of the writer. Why? Because she might have heard of the fights they were having?
Or she knows the truth about them? That they were generically not a couple as the public consumes? I feel like the neighbour is a well acquaintance of the real owner of this house than the woman who used to visit or stay there.
So here is P saying something about Z's home after their break up in 2015. How she was left homeless once Z dumped her, practically villainising Z in the public's eye. It was a PR relationship, admit it or not. I'll prove why it was a PR at the end of this thread.
So P had nowhere to go. No disrespect to her, but that's utter BS. Really a millionaire pop star girl bander like her had no home at all to go! But what you don't know is the fact that P in fact came back to Z's house and stayed at his home after the ultimate break up.
What exactly was she trying to convey here?I'll explain. She is trying to sell the narrative that she was actually very very dependent on Z and she was actually looking to make a family with him..yk vanilla marriage and all..so she dint even think of having a home for herself🤷🏻‍♀️
She's trying to tell that she actually thought Z would marry her and never thought him to break up with her! Great! The idea was sold all so accurately and Z was the villain. He still is the villain in many people's eyes because of this.
Now back to this angry neighbor.. who literally tells P to fuck off. Why? Because it was Z's house and I'm entitled to believe that Z was very acquainted with his neighbours. They knew him. So this neighbor saw all this drama and was not much of a fan? I like to believe that.
Moving on to the next verse..

If you think I was flexing too hard till now.. wait.. hear me out here!
Everytime this "you" calls the writer crazy, he goes crazy. So it is a repeated attribute in their relationship. No mutual respect.
Simply goes around and call your "significant other" crazy. What's crazy mean? Kinda like a "FREAK"? Well.. we know who called Z a freak in national TV amidst an interview! P called Z in an interview in 2014, which is lemme tell you, not so cute sis. Mental health is important.
Remember, this is in 2014, where Z went through the epitome of stress and he literally had an eating disorder which later on everyone got to know of. So as his "gf", I imagine she also knew of this. Instead of being supportive downright calling someone crazy or freak ain't nice.
So next verse!
The first time ever in this song, there's one more person coming. A 'she'.

“You made her like that”

Reminds you of something?

“She got, she got,she got
Her own reasons
For talking to me
And she don't, she don't, she don't
Give a fuck
About what I need
It's YOU”
The writer is talking about another person too a "she/her", who the "you" (the one who drove home) made more angry.

There's a certain "bear" coming in the lyrics. Now  everyone knows the famous Zarry bear. You might think why couldn't it be P, since she also got a bear.Natural🤷🏻‍♀️
But Z directly referred H as his teddy bear, making eye contact with him. So I like to believe H is Z's bear than P. The teddy bear Z gifted to P was thrown out in the Sh*ut "ut to my ex MV, so I don't think Z has any reason to address P as a bear after that kinda humiliation.
For me I feel like this is a REVERSED VERSION of It's you. The one Z addresses as "you" (P) made a certain other person (a bear/H) mad by poking him until his claws came out. Harry throwing an engagement tantrum?
"So kiss him again just to prove to me that you can".
It wasn't a message for Z. It's for the woman who kissed H's lover. That is, P. So here the lyrics is trying to give us a satire that, there's nothing like a mad woman. That is there's nothing as such a concept of mad woman.
And if one has turned that kinda mad, that person has had enough and there's nothing wrong with them. The writer is sympathising with the mad woman here. It's a shame she went mad, and you made her like that. But again, there's nothing like a mad woman.
Now this verse!!! There's a certain verse in each song which sets the deal for me! In this song it's this one.

How many of you know L¡ttle M¡x has a song called "BLACK M*GIC"? The theme of that song is the four of these girl banders becoming witches.
“Women like hunting witches too
Doing your dirtiest work for you”

The women are doing a certain dirty work for this "you". Significantly the other members if the band doing P's dirty work. So what's the dirtiest work?
P was dumped by Z at the exact time of the promotion of Black M*gic. And what did the other members do? Supported her by helping her to push this narrative against Z! Here's J*de telling and Le¡gh saying something about her "airport situation".
Again, here is yet another "dirtiest works" from LM band members in order to shade Z. The sign reads "Z is irrelevant anyways". Well.. no offense, but his iRrElEvAnCe is quite something, I gotta say😌
So yeah.. all of them doing this and literally again dissing Z in their "Sh*ut *ut to my Ex" MV speaks volumes!

Can we all take a moment to appreciate the shading in MW though? Woah!
There's this particular lyric in this verse
“They say "move on" but you know I won't”
Everyone thinks this is the writer telling that they can't move on from the mad woman romantically. It doesn't necessarily have to be the case. Move on could be a moving on from anything.
A general concept of "leave it all behind". But this person here can't move on from what the "you" did! I mean I feel like this writer has a grudge against this person and it's certainly not a healthy relationship. It's rather a toxic one.
This verse is pretty much self explanatory to me! P took everything from Z. His good image. Suddenly Z is a heartless man. A vile cruel human being who didn't have any sympathy for his "fiancee" *coughs* bullshit *coughs*.
Z was that someone who gave her so much hope but left her all homeless in public eye because of all these.God only knows how much he was hated around this time during because of the narrative.Though he tried to tell his story through his autobiography, nobody listened to his side.
"Watching you climb, over people like me"

LM gained popularity through 1D. That's an undeniable fact. I'm not trying to ridicule girl power or anything, that too being a feminist myself. But facts are facts. It's a plain as a day to me.
1D and the Zerr¡e narrative gave that band whatever relevance they gained over the years. Of course the girls are talented. But if you think from a business perspective, you'll know how much the engagement had helped LM's image.
So overall analysis, the mad w*man here is not P. It's H.I already told you Folklore is a Z*rry timeline. And this particular song conveys the Z*rry relationship during Zerr¡e engagement and Z breaking up with P and how his life turned upside because of the lies that were created.
The mad woman the writer is sympathising is H. P and Zerr¡e drove Harry really mad to an extent that he took it to social media to throw tantrums. He was claiming Z publicly. Making it clear for P and the world who Z belonged to. Again, the mad woman here is H. Not P.
Now bonus points. Why I think Zerr¡e wasn't real, rather a PR relationship.
I'm not saying Zerr¡e wasn't real at some point. I certainly believe they were. But they were paired definitely for another purpose. The match was not made in heaven, it was made in "M*dest!".
Both 1D and LM having same management explains volumes. A boy bander and girl bander, two vocal powerhouses combined to create a certain narrative that they're dating. Gained such popularity among the teenagers.
And then Zerr¡e engagement was pushed, which later both Z and P confirmed as fake in their own way. The engagement was literally fed before the media on This Is Us" movie premiere. Use your brains. So yeah..
Here's a little something to show you how orchestrated the whole engagement is.

P swaps positions so that she can show off her engagement ring, as instructed.
This will let you know how fake their relationship and how much she villainized Z! (Sorry.. I've got no chill when it comes to lies).
She first said Z dumped her through a call when she was in an airport and she threw a tantrum but then she corrected herself that Z actually dumped her through a text!
Why exactly she changed from "phone call" to a "text"? Because imagine dumping you through a simple text? Pushing that narrative forward? Only for the world to call the one who dumped "what an a**h***". So yeah.. she created that narrative. Everyone thoroughly accepted it.
There's nothing wrong with being bitter after a break up. We all are humans and feeling drive us up. But if you actually love a person, you don't villainise them in order to put you high. That's not love. That's toxicity right there.
When your partner tells you this can't go on like this anymore, you could at least try to understand their reasons. Ffs, they're not the first ever celebrity couple who broke off an engagement, which was again fake.
Anyway, that's my whole analysis on MW. Feel free to express your opinions. I know this one was a problematic thread. Many of you are still Zerr¡e supporters comparing it with ZG.
There's no ideal couple, but for me Z*rry will always be that superior love. No one will have H's place in Z's life and imo, Z is telling pretty much that and vice versa. Sorry if I offended anyone with these threads.❤️
Once again, thanks to these bunch of awesome people!
