Let’s start with the fact that his main positions in EXO is rapping and dancing but he’s a great vocalist as well.

Not only is he a great vocalist who has amazing hidden vocals in a lot of EXO’s songs, he’s very stable when singing live as well.
His ability to harmonize perfectly with the main vocalists in EXO live:

Another underrated gem is Sehun’s rap in ‘Day after day’
Him rapping live is so amazing to witness because you can see and hear how stable this man is whether it’s rapping or singing
He can effortlessly change the flow of his rap to suit the mood of the song and that is exactly why rapping is one of his main positions in EXO
Sehun doesn’t get many opportunities in EXO songs to show his rapping skills which is why I think his rapping is slept on for the most part but there’s verses like this where you can see how amazing of a rapper he is.
He’s also one of EXO’s main dancers.
One of the most mind blowing stages he has done as a main dancer is this one where SM didn’t give him a solo stage for the tour so he came up with his own dance break and practiced it in 3 days before the tour started.

The dance to ‘Run this’ is pretty fast because of the beat and you can see Sehun meeting every single beat with his steps and movements.

Now let’s talk about how he can switch from singing to rapping live and vice versa & manage to sound good every time. Not many can do both
Y’all don’t understand how talented you have to be in order to rap AND sing.
So many people get confused about what his position in EXO is because he can literally do everything and is good at it
Sehun is a whole package who can rap, dance, and sing in a song. He’s good at controlling the flow of his body and voice. He can switch from one talent to another live. He has many positions in EXO. In conclusion, Sehun is an ace.
