I know the thread is mostly about cats but my family and I accidentally conditioned my hamster to have lunch and dinner with us

Sometimes we let him eat some of our food (if we're having boiled veggies, boiled eggs or chicken) at the table https://twitter.com/HooiWanV/status/1292741359816683527

At lunchtime and dinnertime he does as if he wanted to go out and we give him a small piece of our food (that doesn't have any kind of sauce and its only seasoning is salt)

When it's hot we also give him a piece of watermelon, melon or cucumber and it's so cute to see him eating it
