i know it’s the classic teenager thing to say “god my parents don’t get it” but i seriously think my parents are losing it because they wanted me to watch a podcast about college scholarships live in the middle of something i was doing and threw a fit when i said i’d listen later
oh and then after my mom told me “when you’re done can you do x chore” and i said yeah, as soon as i’m done not even an hour after she yells at me because, i shit you not, “when you’re done” means “right now” to her for some reason and not “when you’re finished doing your stuff”
genuinely this shit hurts my brain
oh! let’s not forget when i don’t say exactly what they want me to reply with i’m arguing apparently! and when i ask them why i’m wrong it’s still arguing and not just me trying to understand my mistakes!! i love it here
adding to this thread because i’m still salty: i can guarantee i’m gonna get yelled at when i go home if i eat in the car right now because it appears she can’t read
