5 things Lagos traffic taught me about real life hustling.
1. Overtaking is allowed.
There& #39;s no straight line to success or making money.
Because you graduated first does not mean you& #39;ll succeed first.
Because you got a job first does not mean the next guy won& #39;t get a better job.
First to buy motor buys old model.
2. Expect no mercy.
When people see you trying to join traffic in front of them, they& #39;ll instinctively accelerate to cut you off.
Don& #39;t cry. Don& #39;t beg.
Move forward and find another entry point.
Na so life be.
3. Ask questions, But use your head.
It& #39;s good to have mentors and guides but you have to use your head cos sometimes, people can project their insecurities on your hustle. Lastma fit guide u enter one chance.
Still. Ask questions.
Get mentors and guides anyway.
4. Sometimes be patient.
Don& #39;t do one way. Don& #39;t follow BRT. Some shortcuts na trap. Just be patient. Red light go still turn green.
After Ozumba na 3MB.
Be patient.
When you finally pass the traffic, you& #39;ll be wondering what caused it anyway. Nothing.
Be patient.
5. Be Vigilant!
You& #39;re most vulnerable when you& #39;re stuck in traffic.
Stay sober.
Wind up. Watch your side.
When you& #39;re stationery the weirdos will approach you.
As much as you can, keep moving.
No dey lose concentration.
