I'm trying to write my introduction but my brain is stuck on the haunting my ex-roommate told me.

She was an undergrad of UM back in 2008-2011 (IIRC), came to do her MBA in UPM during 2011-2012?
Anyway as she tells it, she got slotted into a room with two other girls. That room had a bunk bed and a single bed. Everything went fine for a couple of months until one day when she realized one of her roommates had been sleeping for almost the entire day.
Her: Eh should we wake her for food?
Roommate 1: Probably
Her: *pokes Roommate 2*
R2: GWAAAARGH HOW DARE YOU TRESPASS IN THIS ROOM

As she tells it, R2 just sat up straight and in a voice far deeper than normal, shouted at everyone to gtfo.
R1 was conveniently by the door so R1 skedaddled immediately, and my poor senpai was stuck in the room cause R2 was flipping out in front of the door. Senpai was terrified and screaming cause R2 was yelling about trespassers violating territory bla bla
R1 returns with some boys and some ustaz who held down R2 and prayed while senpai was quaking in the corner. Typical possession style shenanigans for SEAsians ensue, inhuman strength, flings off people, sends shit flying, etc etc.
Ustaz finally asks R2 what they want.
The Ghost (presumably): This is my room
Ustaz: Then if we promise to leave, will you go?
The Ghost (still presumably): ok

Upon which R2 just passes out and all is... quiet?
Senpai packs all of her shit and goes to the office to demand another room and according to her, the Clerk was like
"Ah too bad, we haven't had a case in a few years."
Senpai: What?!
Clerk: Yeah, it happens sometimes if you put people in that room.
Senpai: ಠ_ಠ
According to Senpai, R2 was tired but fine. And they all moved the heck out of the room. She ended up renting an apartment nearby.

Her luck with this shit was terrible. She recounted this tale on the heels of a haunting in UPM as well.
the UPM tale was less terrifying, just annoying as heck. Cause whatever it was decided to lock her room door. She didn't have a roommate and she popped out to the toilet without the key, and when she came back, it was latched from the inside.
Since UPM sometimes has duplicate locks, we gathered everyone available to try their keys in her room door until it unlatched. There wasn't anyone inside. We were on the second floor. But we all heard the lock sliding its way out.

Yeaaaah, she packed and left.
Forgot to add, the room she was bothered in at UPM was also a 'problematic' room which, my seniors told me, were usually assigned to people 'in the know' and with strong imam.

Me: ಠ_ಠ Maybe... we could just... stop assigning people to haunted rooms?
