4...is basically comatose, and that moderate disability is still basically unemployable. Yet, in order to try to get your "unemployably disabled" patients covered, you have to consider "misrepresenting" the patient's case, because rule following-docs...5
5...don't realize they have been duped by a totally arbitrary set of definitions. Further, when a patient submits their claims, and get turned down...when they question why, they get told "go talk to your doctor", like somehow its the doctor's fault...6
6...This sort of manipulation and abuse of the medical profession by entities that have no business burdening the medical establishment with their own agenda-driven deceptions needs to stop, and it needs to STOP NOW! Doctors need to stop being bureaucracy's scapegoat...7
7...My understanding is that yesterday's tragedy had to do with the doctor being inappropriately put in the place of being unwilling, unwitting gatekeeper to a system well practiced in manufacturing dismissal. I call on all doctors in this province to start...8
8...start seeing the myriad abuses you have assumed for your patients and for yourselves. Let these government programs, well-skilled in shirking their responsibilities start taking the responsibility for their own actions. Don't naively offer them protection any longer...9
9...Now for the paradox. You have been put in the place of being their gatekeeper. But, giving up that unwanted role may place it right back in the hands of the most corrupt govt this province or country has ever seen. Maybe the proper civil disobedience at this time is...10
10...fling that gate wide open. Let everyone through. Let the bureaucrats and politicians know you will not be their stooge any longer. You definitely should not put yourself in the least bit of risk to safeguard these crooked institutions. Open up the gates...11
11...and let the hoard flood through. Let the corrupt politicians and bureaucrats cower in their tower. AiSH, Disability, WCB, Private Insurance companies, etc etc etc. We will not be doing your dirty work any more. Come down out of your glass buildings and tell...12
12...your clients yourselves why you have disqualified them, why you were willing to take money and not hold up your part of the deal. Put yourselves at risk, like you have been more than happy to put docs at risk for decades to separate yourselves from your sins.
