#iKONTV_EP4 realization: #iKON isn't bound by their name. They are fated by their bond. iKON, more than their team name, is a group of young boys whose brotherhood is far more tenacious than one can see or explain. iKON is bound by choice.
This bond is seen through their interactions and physical affections with each other. Their closeness is seen through their antics exhibited as if they all run on one mind. This group is composed of SEVEN bodies linked by one mind.
Their bond shines through at times they accept each other's weirdness or even how they pull each other's strings. Their teasing is that of those you observe within siblings. Their frankness with each other is only seen within relationships built upon trust and honesty.
Even during the times they struggle, you see them comfort each other. Throughout the yrs that these boys have been together, it was each other's encouragement that pushed them through the day. It was the words of ea other that make things okay no matter what the next day brings.
When they prevail, it's also w/in those same arms they celebrate in. In whatever circumstance, ea member has become their biggest supporters. #iKON's support for each other isn't something easily tainted by their predicaments.
And even if they fail or even at times they make mistakes, it will always be the same arms that they find comfort in. These boys have always appreciated the effort they put in more than the outcome.
These SEVEN boys are not together for the luxury that comes with being an idol. These SEVEN boys, more than their personal gain, are together because they chose to be successful in the arms of each other.
These SEVEN boys aren't together because of the misfortune they went through as Team B. These SEVEN boys are not together for the achievements they receive as iKON. These boys are together because even before they were given a name, they CHOSE to be together.
That's what makes them different from the rest. The boys may rise again under a different name. The boys may go on stage under different circumstances, even under circumstances we don't agree with.
But the boys will always be TOGETHER in every sense of the word because they CHOOSE to and not because they're forced to. To this day, the bond they shared with each other is the biggest thing that helps me through the days.
Why? All these years, the boys have always used each other as shelter from everyone else. We, iKONICS, may act as their seawall. But the foundation of their tenacity had always been each other. I've always been grateful for that.
From here on out, no matter what circumstances they see themselves in, I have no doubt in my mind that these boys will always be TOGETHER. Together not in the sense of being under the same name but in whatever form they please. Because in this group, no one is left behind.
I think this might be that last of the series. Idk if I have the energy to watch 5 and 6.
