I'm going to go on a rant for a second: I'm tired of the constant need to takedown everyone for any dirt that can be dug up on them (1/?)
Listen, I am not here to say that you can't criticize someone for their record. You should. Everyone should. Criticism is what helps people grow. I took art classes all through high-school it helped me. From art to politics, people learn from criticism and get better (2/?)
But the constant need to take down politicians for bad parts of their record is just tiring. What about the good parts? What about what they support? What about how they have changed to improve themselves? People aren't static. People learn. People grow. People change. (3/?)
Does Kamala Harris have a clean record? Heck no. In fact, no politician does. If you really want to do a take down, look at what your favorite politician has done. I bet my life they have voted on something you hate with a passion. It doesn't mean they can't change. (4/?)
And it is our job to hold them accountable for it, yes, and that's why we vote. But considering that many of them still have careers, it means that they have had some sort of support and positivity (minus those who get elected thanks to gerrymandering and voter suppression) (5/?)
You know who won't change? Narcissistic and self centered politicians who are corrupt beyond imagination. There is a different between those who can and will grow and yhose who have actually proven themselves to not give a damn at all. They deserve all the takedowns (6/?)
Again: I. Am. Not. Saying. Don't. Criticize. In fact, Kamala did it to Biden, and Gabbard did it to Kamala. Do you not think they took that to heart? Did you also know that there are other members of the cabinet of the president, and they have voices too? (7/?)
If Biden and his campaign is willing to get someone who went after him, imagine what other voices he can pick to fill out his cabinet. They definitely won't all be white yes-men who will rollover to whatever their boss demands them to do. Trust me, they really won't be (8/?)
Am I doing this out of fear for Trump? Heck yeah. Because I do not want to see someone who has utterly torn this country apart get re-elected. And I will gladly criticize Biden if he is elected and does something dumb as should be, but I am not going to laud it over him (9/?)
I am just so, so frustrated in hearing that people are not happy the world isn't perfect. It will never be.

But it can be a lot better than right now.

I know I won't change votes or beliefs, and I welcome that. I am just frustrated by the inability to find any good in anything.
