I have a #ARMYREALTALK coming soon on the subject of multis and who they are as well as they position in the fandom and how army sees them. And why. But in order to actually have that conversation which I think is an important one and one we often tend to be split on and+
One of the biggest reason for fighting within the fandom as well as mistrust i need to see where some of y'all who care enough to read this stand on the subject. Because I truly think its about time we have the hard conversations.
If we preach inclusivity, tolerance and+
Diversity, and understanding we have to address the misconceptions within the fandom as well. BTW i will address all these sorts of problems over the course of the next few weeks so buckle up. Tomorrow subject is multis. And im conducting a poll so please take them. Here goes+👇🏾
I think all multis are bad
I find all multis problematic
Multis cannot be ARMY
I dont trust any multis, because they typically seem to have bad intentions and tend to be the cause of confusion in the fandom. As they also promote other groups that I'm not interested in and take the focus away from BTS
I Don't like multis because I don't think they are loyal
Being ARMY means you can't stan other groups, you have to only stan BTS or you can't be ARMY
I understand the difference between a stan and a fan, I don't think its possible to truthfully and wholeheartedly stan more than one group at a time. And that's why I don't trust multis, they seem fickle and non-committal.
A multi is someone who
Do believe you can love more than one person at a time and do it wholehearted
I see all the other groups out there as BTS rivals so I see multis as people consorting/fraternizing with the enemy. It's like they're all backstabbing BTS because they love other groups
I dont think we should extend the tolerance and non discrimination rule to multis because i dont think they can be trusted. They have a bad reputation in the fandom so I don't wanna risk it. So I keep them all at arms length
Thinking that multis cannot be ARMY is not a stereotype, it's a fact. and Not trusting them is not discrimination it's being careful because I don't know they're intentions.
It's ok to assume multis have bad intentions. The majority of them are shady af and they always cause trouble so I can assume they're all like that.
I have nothing against multis, I just don't want them to be included in ARMY because there's no way they devoted to BTS and their message completely if they stan other groups too
Who's worse
By the definition of A.R.M.Y adorable representative MC for youth. Multis are not ARMY
If i find out that a multi is a part of the organizing team for an ARMY project, or that they've worked on the making of something for ARMY. I Won't trust the project, and will forever be suspicious because they worked with a multis
Multis shouldnt have the same rights as "full-blooded" ARMYs. They are a disease in the fandom and they shouldn't even be calling themselves ARMY
I will publicize the results of these polls in my thread tomorrow and in the mean time I want you to think about your answers to them. Feel free to discuss your thoughts in the replies. Again this is to spark a conversation, that most of us refuse to have in this fandom+
And make us all think about the thought processes that we have about certain groups of people that exist in this fandom and that we tend to either hate, ignore, blame for a lot of our problems in our fandom, and/or generalize/stereotype.
Last but not least, did this thread make you stop and think about your current position on multis.
Thank you so much for taking the polls if you have. This will be an interesting subject for me to undertake and I will offer my commentaries on it some time between tomorrow and Thursday. Because I feel like we need some reality checks in the fandom. And I hope to +
Start the conversation. PS. I dont wanna see anyone fighting in the replies, like I said discuss. Leave your thoughts, debate, but do not insult or attack or disrespect anyone. I wanna hear your thoughts ARMY. also VOTE: #MTVHottest BTS @BTS_twt
END OF THREAD
PS OF PS: btw you will notice that some of these are either black and white, and extreme thoughts. This is intentional. This is verbiage I've seen "ARMYs" use online to speak about multis. And after soriba this stuff has gotten worse. You know me I never have the easy convos😅
