Caption your shit, image describe your things, and don’t post inaccessible memes. Do it without people asking.
People shouldn’t have to contact you first before you offer an image description, for example. This goes quadruply if you’re a large account.

Making people beg for accessibility isn’t a move an ally would do. Just saying.
This thread has been brought to you by a supposedly progressive, thoughtful, large account on Instagram only offering image descriptions when asked. It’s too common. Cut it out.
If a disability precludes you from offering them that’s different.

Otherwise, plenty of people have no excuse beyond not wanting to or not knowing how.
Not knowing how is one thing. Deciding yourself that you only have an audience that “doesn’t need x accessibility feature” is...not great.
