first of all, you need to understand how religiously important palestine is. it is home to Al Masjid Al Aqsa, one of the most important mosques in all of the middle east, its where Jesus was born, and Jerusalem was the capital of King David’s ‘Israel’ in the Torah.

Before jews arrived, Palestine was an Ottoman region. After the first world war, England realized how strategically important Palestine was. It was an easy route to all of their colonies. They believed that if they gave Jews that land, theyd have them on their side +

as well as be able to safely cross through Palestine. This is what we call “وعد بلفور” or Belfours Declaration. This was a public statement issued by the british government to declare the support of a national home to jews in Palestine. It has been also described as +

وعد ممن لا يملك لمن لا يستحق، meaning those who dont have the right to a land have promised it to those who dont deserve it. The british never owned Palestine in the first place, and Jews have no legal rights to that land.

The allies of the first world war gave Palestine to Britain, even though Palestine belonged to the Ottoman, which was an axis. It had NO right to give it to Britain.

In 1920, The league of nations had a conference, and unfortunately and unrightfully gave Britain Palestine.

The Implementation of Balfours Declaration:
- Allowing thousands of jews into Palestine without any kind of legal registrations.
- “Legalizing” “selling” Palestinian land to Jews.

Palestanians were outraged by this all. They were never considered during any of these actions. They were protesting for 19 YEARS. 1920-1939.

In 1947, England offered a solution to the United Nations, which said that they would split Palestine into:
- Jewish Land
- Muslim/Arab Land
- A national land which had all the religious places.

Establishing Israel:
After England officially left Palestine, Jews/Zionists immediately announced the establishment of Israel on the very next day, 15th of May, 1948, and both the USA and The Soviet Union recognized it as an official nation.

I hope you understand that I made this thread with the intention to educate people on how exactly it all started, and how unfair and evil it all was, and how Arabs lives were never considered. Palestanians continue to be killed in their own homes on their own land.

They dont have civil rights on THEIR OWN LAND. Even in places that Israel claims to call “Palestanian” land always have israeli armed camps. They are being terrorized.
