NGL, the news from Mozilla hit me harder than I expected. I always wanted to work there (it& #39;s like the IDEAL place mission-wise). The fact that, for all they do, they don& #39;t get more respect is more telling of the industry than of them.

That goes back to how this environment is destined to kill off a lot of the work being done to help people. We& #39;re lowkey doomed to it. This is probably why the Earthseed series hits so hard for me - it& #39;s a big dream in a world aiming to snuff you out.

[this is where that line between idealism for a strong and safe future versus just trying to get by today comes in].
