Hey #witchtwt I just want to take a second to speak on signs from Spirit. Because I am seeing a lot of posts from baby witches that are like "Oh I saw this thing or I found this dead bug. Is so-and-so spirit trying to contact me?" And I have some things to say.

Say you see an animal or you find a feather or some shit. And you feel that was a sign from the fae or from your spirit guide or from a deity or from Krampus or whatever the hell you think. Alright?

You are under literally ZERO obligation to prove that that object/animal/whatever couldn't have gotten there "naturally" or through "mundane" means. Because like, it probably did. But it can STILL be a sign. And nobody has the right or responsibility to validate that but YOU.

That shit operates primarily through chance. The sign in question does have a "natural" reason for being there. Like, the feather fell, the animal was doing animal stuff. But it can also have a magical reason, too. Witches know there is no supernatural. ALL IS NATURAL.

So in other words, don't let anyone else validate or invalidate your subjective experience. If you think the fae are contacting you, only you can determine that. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
