ranpo is extremely smart when it comes to deduction. and lousia is a near perfect tactician alongside her ability to slow time. but the reason dazai and fyodor are considered to be insanely smart is bc they have a combination of both ranpo’s and lousia’s type of intelligence

the types of intelligence:
- deduction skills / problem solving
- strategy and planning / “thinking ahead”

dazai and fyodor both with their own motives show their skill in being able to combine both types of intelligence. they are able to think ahead to avoid risks and win the “game” but if they do run into problems they are also able to solve them or deduct any mystery

ranpo is better than dazai & fyodor when it comes to deduction but his intelligence mainly focuses on deduction and problem solving while lousia is the best tactician but her intelligence mainly revolves around that.

so that makes me think.. would ranpo and lousia as a duo being stronger / more powerful than dazai & fyodor ? (assuming they had the same resources available like money and an army with ability users with equal physical fighting ability)

quick note - i kept using the word tactician for lousia bc that’s what on her bsdfandom wiki page but i’m wondering if strategist would be a better word..
