The Deep South.

You know who progressives count out,
The Deep South.

You know where 55% of Black people live? The Deep South.

Elections is a numbers game. It’s not just about the passions and ideas.

It’s how can you count the votes needed to win.

So if we want to start winning, progressives stop acting like Black folks in the south don’t matter.

I love Bernie. Voted for him in 2016 and 2020. You know who came to my state multiple times? Kamala Harris. Joe Biden.

I think Bernie came once.

You know who has come to Louisiana repeatedly? Trump.

He goes after the south. Democrats just give it to Republicans.

So they lose.

Louisiana is 34% Black. Mississippi is 37% Black. How much money is the DNC spending to flip the two Blackest states in America?

You want to talk about winning, go get Black voters in the Deep South motivated.

If progressives want to win. Stop counting out the base of the party. Did I say 55% of Blacks live in the south?

Biden won the nomination because he swept the south. Learn from the mistakes so we don’t repeat them.
