What the #Democrats and establishment #Republicans like the Bush family don't understand (or willfully ignore) is that more cooperation with China provides more opportunities for China to take advantage of the US militarily, diplomatically, and economically.
To defeat the CCP the US must clean up its corrupt politics, in which US corporations in China have free rein to donate to US politicians and US politicians and their families (including the Trumps, Bushes, McConnells, and Pelosis) can make money on their business in China.
Business with China is China's conduit for political influence in the US. It has to stop or we will lose it all.
The US is not the only one using tariffs to effect against China.
