That's why I volunteered for 7 yrs to lead @azcentral Diversity Cmte on top of reporting. That's why I served on @NAHJ's Board. Many @NABJ @najournalists @aaja @NAHJ journalists dedicate our careers to mentoring, equity, representation. We need our upper management to do better.

In June, the local chapter @AZ_ABJ of @NABJ released a statement on the lack of Black representation in leadership positions at newsrooms across the state, including at The Arizona Republic. The @azcentral upper management’s response lacked a parity plan w/deadlines. #ReflectAZ
