I had an appointment at the VA Med Ctr in DC today and had to drive through a residential area to get there. This is probably a middle class neighbor, maybe just under average and most likely 95+% black. I drove past probably 200 houses 1/x...

On the way back, I paid particular attention to the signs that were placed in the yards. This time 4 years ago there were Hillary signs all over the place and, even more abundant, were signs encouraging people to vote straight Democrat tickets 2/x...

What observed today was 7 BLM signs or flags, 5 Black Fathers Matter signs, ZERO Biden signs, and, not surprisingly, ZERO Trump signs, no signs about voting at all. 3/x

Now, I'm going to make point to drive that way again in a week or two to see if there's any change, but this leads me to believe that, in that neighborhood, they're just isn't ANY enthusiasm for Biden. 4/x

If that neighborhood is any indication, then Trump may well garner an even bigger % of the Black vote that what's currently thought because unenthused voters don't vote. 5/x

I doubt seriously that Biden can win if Black Democrats don't go to the polls and Trump pulls 40+ % (or, potentially, even higher). 6/x

Can Harris help him? I don't think so once the ads start hitting her with her record.
