Sunday evening I was arrested by APD along with 16 other people during a counter protest. Here you can see an officer arresting a medic and punching her four times in the back. Shortly after, officers pinned me down and cuffed me.

My charge was “interfering with public duties.” I was trying to call attention to the officers excessive use of force, was picked up, thrown on the ground and then flipped over and taken in. APD officers were condescending, not wearing masks, and stole property.

They arrested multiple BLM protestors and a photographer for taking one step into the street, yet did nothing to the Back the Blue demonstrators who did the same.

After arresting the medic, APD corralled us around Garrett’s memorial to arrest someone else. In the process, they destroyed Garrett’s vigil, maced multiple people, and threatened protestors.
