I have an overwhelming desire to make a Pokemon fan-game! Like just SO SO BAD!!!!

Here are some of my ideas! And if you want, give some of your ideas too!

Open world (as in you can go anywhere after the first gym)

The gyms scale with how many badges you have and there are a total of 16 or so gyms.

The elite four is open to you once you have at least 8 badges!

Gyms are not mono-type, instead they have gimmicks like a rock star gym where all the Pokemon use sound based moves!

There is literally EVERY SINGLE POKEMON up to gen 8 findable in the wild!

There will be events the player can interact with after having a certain number of badges. Like in between having 3 to 5 badges the evil team will be trying to steal Pokemon in a certain city, and the player can go and stop them! And when the 6th badge is obtained the event stops

I want there to be tons of items that are able to change your Pokemon's nature, their IVs, their EVs and stuff, so you can never have a "bad Pokemon"

I want most of the battles to be double battles (like colloseum)

Pokemon will be able to learn any move they were able to learn in the past (ex. Spinda will be able to be taught Superpower ) and there will be an "egg maniac" or something that will be able to teach your Pokemon any of the egg moves they could learn!

There will be a battle frontier similar to emerald!

I want to make a battle tower like in emerald or battle subway like in black and white, except your Pokemon can actually level up from it.

I may or may not add fakemon. But if I do, I will take fan suggestions

There will be trials and dungeons that you need to get through with a variety of puzzles in order to get any of the legendaries, and some will have full on side quests to get!

I want to add the conveniences of future gens like TMs not breaking and no HMs.

I want to bring back berry farming! Idk why, but I liked growing berries!

Contests are going to come back, so coordinators be prepared to dazzle the crowd!

You are going to be able to rechallenge any trainer you want, including gym leaders and the elite four, and they will start to scale with the amount of badges you have!

There are going to be a few rivals, but I want one of them to be a plucky Pokemon breeder who has dreams of becoming a competitive Pokemon battler! And I want their ace to be spinda... Because yah know... It's my favorite Pokemon and I love them

This rival is gonna be wicked tough, but will also assist you in some battles vs the evil team and whatnot (so will do multibattles with you)

For some of the important battles (like with elite four) they will have rotating teams, so you can't prepare for what Pokemon they have

I want for the players' Pokemon to have level 100 completely competitively viable Pokemon by the end of the game (for the battle frontier)

I have already started to compose music for this, because I got a bit excited, so there will be original music along with some old bops!

There will be a person who will trade Pokemon with you to evolve your Pokemon!

There will also be plenty of trade NPCs that will trade their Alolan and Galarian forms with your regular Pokemon

There will be lots of queer representation because there isn't enough in general

Mega evolution!

There will be side quests you must complete in order to be able to battle the gym leaders, because I feel like just battling them is boring! It would also prove you're an upstanding citizen who is using Pokemon for good, which I feel is the point!

I can't really think of anything else I would want to add right now, I might add to this thread later! Also idk if I'm actually going to go through with this, but if I do I kind of want to stream the process of making it! I think that would be cool. Give me some of your thought!
