i wanna know what we got a 20 yr headstart on? being second mothers in the family? doing chores while your brother plays video games and your dad sleeps? being preyed on by men since grade 3? is female socialization fun and games?

me at 11: learnt how to make fucking chow mein and shish taouk, always helped mother and female family members with cooking and cleaning
brother at 13: cant make package ramen noodles, burns omelettes, is never expected to be in kitchen or yelled at for not helping out

maybe im just mad bc as a woman whos nearing the end of her 20 year free trial of being recognized as female i literally have to cook and clean for my family atm on my only day off when my dad is literally sleeping rn and my brothers playing video games

idk where you live but being recognized as a girl and a woman from birth is not fun and games... at all...
