Since Uzaki-chan is the talk of the town. I& #39;m gonna explain why Uzaki-chan is so controversial.
Remember this image? It& #39;s from the Japanese Red Cross.

Some time ago, some expat goober saw this and got all assmad about it, so he complained about it on Twitter, and assembled neopuritans who think like him. At the time, the main complaint was Uzaki& #39;s tits. No one said anything about her looking like a child.
From what I remember, the goober and his friends tried to get the Red Cross to take the sign down, but the Red Cross refused to give in to their stupid demands.
Some time later, Uzaki-chan got her own anime, and her haters were fucking SEETHING. Somewhere down the line, someone thought Uzaki looked like a literal child, and that allegation stuck.
Uzaki, to me, isn& #39;t controversial because they think she looks like a child. She& #39;s controversial because got popular from a failed cancellation attempt by some American feminist living in Japan.
*she got popular
