Couple scenes from #seattleprotests last night at the East Precinct. After a small group of protestors blocked the side entrance to the station, SPD responded with a large force of cars with lights & sirens. SPD retreated after protestors approached them slowly with raised hands.

Earlier, a small group of SPD stood in the park as the protestors were assembling. First time I've witnessed SPD enter the park before anything has "happened"

On previous nights, SPD had generally follows the march about a block back. Clearing road obstructions after protestors moved on. Photos here from last week.

"Damage" has been generally limited to flipped dumpsters, occasional graffiti, and occasionally a smashed window at the usual places. Again, photos from last week.

More concerning to the group of neighbors I spoke to was the giant unmasked Jesus concert in Cal Anderson on Sunday.

The BLM protestors met them with chants of "Wear a mask" and attempted to hand them out to people in the park.
