- Differences between SEXUALITY and SEXUALIZATION.

Important thread for all NSFW-artists, who don't want to make over sexualized characters and breaks gender stereotypes as well. Also, femenist and masculist artists, this is also for you.)
SEXUALITY: Healthy sexuality, which is an important aspect of our physical and mental health, involves the mutual respect of characters used for a drawings. This includes normal proportions, things, such as body type, face type and other things identical to characters...
- and aren't changed to make character look more beautiful and sexy, skin is also identical to the real skin - "buttered" skin is a sign of sexualization, unless your character was dirty or literally in butter. Naked models are great reference for drawing normal NSFW.
SEXUALIZATION: Everything is concentrated on characters sexy look and behavior. Character is held to standards that tolds us how CH must look to look attractive - it's almost always gender stereotypes... CH must be literally perfect. CH is sexually objectified -
- This means that a person is made into an object or “thing” for the sexual pleasure.

Now you know basic differences between these two. This is short explanation, more you can find online.)

Also I would love, if you subscribe, I post a lot of similar stuff here about:
- gender stereotypes, oversexualization, feminism, LGBT+ activism and other important stuff. ;)
