To the friends, family, and peers that left Texas Lutheran University a while back because you noticed the issues & that TLU only sees you as a $, I wish I would’ve seen what this university was doing when you did. A school that doesn’t care about anyone just the money they make.
I’m stuck here and if I wasn’t things would’ve been different. I don’t have a voice at this school and if I try to they shut you down and silence students by threats in emails saying that we are supposed to be at a higher standard even though the school does NOT even uphold that.
TLU was my first choice & has been since I was in middle school. Coming here & seeing how they treat others and myself, it’s hard to love a school like that especially when things get tough and they only care about themselves and don’t care about the students they effect and hurt
I have met so many amazing people and professors and advisors at TLU and the campus used to be beautiful, other than that Tyson smell that comes on campus. I’m sad that because of the people that are the head of the school and make the decisions and deal with the money aspect of
things make me want to tell people not to come. People can learn so much from this great university, but to only be looked at like a $ and not have a voice by the people of the highest power at the school stinks. I love all of my professors and classmates regardless if we’ve had
a falling out or not but TLU isn’t what I thought and sadly it is like how I’ve been told for a while. I just wish I listened. I have nowhere to go and no one to help and all the university tells me is to be quite, don’t sue, and just “accept the decision” that they made for me.
