do not get a frog (specifically white& #39;s tree frog, though this can apply to others) if you
-can& #39;t handle live bugs
-aren& #39;t willing to feed them live bugs
-can& #39;t handle them peeing on you
-aren& #39;t willing to clean things DAILY
-aren& #39;t willing to spend upwards of 600 dollars
i forgot to mention this, but they live upwards of 20 years. when people say these frogs are low maintenance, they are. however, they still require care. they& #39;re not display pets, if you get a male, they will croak. loudly. all. night. also don& #39;t use tap water unless you dechlo-
-rinate the water. you can get amphibian dechlorinator cheap and it& #39;ll last a while. this thread might scare you into not getting frogs, which i& #39;m not trying to do. they& #39;re lovely pets, especially for beginners. but you need to care for them properly.
also, some pointers for wild frogs/toads.
don& #39;t handle them for too long unless you have to.
don& #39;t try to set them so they& #39;re sitting like a person. they can& #39;t breathe like that
expect them to pee on you if you& #39;re not gentle. they might do that even if you are gentle though
