FWIW:

When I begin preparing for a new sermon series I go to http://esv.literalword.com . I copy and paste the whole book into word. 1" top and bottom margins and 1.75-2" side margins depending on how it works out. I try to not make a new page start midverse.
This becomes the main text for grasping an overview of the book and the main text for preparing each week. It allows me to color, take notes, draw, make divisions, outlines etc. Sometimes i transfer things into my preaching Bible and sometimes not.

Anyway, maybe an idea for you
Example from the Sermon on the Mount. I usually by an 1.5” or 2” binder.
Everything winds up like this at the end with each sermon included in the binder along with the text I’ve worked through
