The wife and what the right hand possess are always mentioned together in the Qur'an, this is to show they are in the same position, they get the same rights.

Imam Shafi'i mentioned that if a man was to force himself onto a concubine(what the right hand possesses), she would be taken away from him and he will be charged with the punishment of zina.
So, if that is the punishment for a concubine, surely its the same for your wife!!

The prophet warned a man and women of withholding themselves from their spouse as a means of punishing them.
If that person doesn't fulfill their right upon you, that doesn't give you the right to take it forcefully. That means that person is sinful.
