Federal Ethics rules require impartiality in the performance of one's duties. They prohibit misuse of position. The Hatch Act prohibits partisan political activity on official time/equipment/premises. Weintraub is acting to remove @POTUS.
Hunter, in Politico: "As chair, Weintraub has been rushing around giving interviews, tweeting and generally weighing in on a whole host of topics both within and outside of the FEC’s area of expertise."

When the head of the Federal Election Commission does that, "she risks misleading the public about what the FEC does and what campaign finance law really says."

Weintraub says that in the past it wasn't a problem, because the popular vote winner was also the electoral college winner, but now that things have changed (i.e. Trump) "I come to worry that people will feel that the result is not legitimate."
So you have the head of the FEC saying that the election wasn't legitimate.
FEC has to do with campaign finance, but you hear "federal election" and think that the agency has to do with ensuring a fair election.
It's wrong what Weintraub did.
As Hunter points out: "She [Weintraub] repeatedly challenged his [ @POTUS] allegations of voter fraud....questioned the legitimacy of the Electoral College. The FEC has no authority over either of these issues."
Weintraub's title is front and center - very misleading.

In fact, "when @TheJusticeDept announced...the pres. call with Zelensky did not violate campaign finance law, Weintraub, acting unilaterally & without conferring with other commissioners, issued a draft interpretive rule arguably implying that Trump’s actions would be illegal."
And then Weintraub went even further, posting a draft rule to the official government website of the FEC so as to make noise. As Hunter points out, it would never have been acted upon.
This is exactly the same as the FDA "finding" that hydrochloroquine "doesn't work" and tweeting that - yes, correct, it doesn't work on late-stage hospitalized patients, it does work on early-stage people just getting symptoms - but they never clarified this, and never will.
This is also exactly the same as staff at the State Department, DOJ, GAO, et al. working for the communists at the "Democratic Socialists of America" on company time, and bragging that they can't get fired.
Their goal is all the same. It has nothing to do with concern about our country. It has everything to do with "stopping Trump," because Trump threatens the entire superstructure that they've come to feed from.

And you can see now that Weintraub is using her job to throw the election in a more direct way. She has come out to say that the votes won't be counted on election night.

We know that jamming up the election -- making it uncountable, unenforceable, etc. -- has been the plan all along. That way they can delay the results and put one of their own in charge.

The point of all this is, the Deep State is comprised of ordinary people, bound together by the belief that their negotiated morality is a realm of law unto itself, one that stands above the legitimately elected President of the United States.
I hope this thread shed some light on how their attempt to overthrow the country remains entrenched in our day to day life.
