“Car crash killing family renews safety concerns about vehicles as sales soar.”
Just kidding. Hard to find headlines like that about vehicles, despite 1.35 million people a year, 3.7K a day, killed world-wide in traffic crashes, with another 20-50 million/year seriously injured.

And it wasn’t even an e-bike.

MEDIA, TAKE NOTE: The Swind EB-01 that Cowell was riding is not an e-bike. "The beating heart of this beast is an electrical motor with 15kW of power." That is 20x the maximum allowed for e-bikes in North America, 60x the limit in Europe. The electric moterbike for trails on the left is the one #SimonCowell had his accident on. It’s not an e-bike. Now note the upright e-bike used in the media story on the right — literally the safest e-bike design to ride, designed to get around cities.
