been thinking a lot about the Tolstoy quote “there are as many kinds of love as there are hearts" (i.e., 7 billion). But I feel like every relationship is different, so there should actually be (7 billion choose 2) potential loves
But then I think about Dunbar's number, this idea that we can only maintain 150 connections at one time. So at any given moment, 7 billion people are each experiencing like 150 different types of love (105 billion different types of love?)
But ALSO, we don't just have one-on-one connections, and the love I have for my family is distinct from the love I have for each of them. So we gotta add in the number of communities we feel love for. Is there a Dunbar's number for communities?
