[New Article]

The last week has been crazy, as I welcomed over 1200 new followers and 300 new newsletter subscribers.

I wanted to direct them towards an article that will explain my goals and my projects going forward.

- This is a thread recounting my evolution -
1/ The Evolution of the Student Mindset.

The Student Mindset is the name of my Personal Monopoly. (h/t @david_perell) As I grew over time it constantly evolved.

I write about mindful productivity (h/t @anthilemoon), intentional learning, and leveraging twitter.
2/ As I grew more familiar with the Personal Monopoly, I began to understand that it should be:

- Multifaceted, it does not have to solely be three categories.
- Flexible, it should give you a new lens to look at things
- Marketable, how can you help others w/ your skills.
3/ Looking forward, the vision for Student Mindset to transform how people engage with the idea of productivity and learning.

Understanding and internalizing the idea to work smarter, not harder. In the end, the goal is the same as everyone else, to create more free time.
4/ Season 2 of the Podcast

The next large section of my life has been my podcast. Which I think has been my growth multiplier in terms of knowledge and audience.

I have been able to interview some amazing people @stephsmithio @oliviercantin that have helped me move forward.
5/ Season 2 Continued.

I want to upgrade the podcast by doing a couple of things.

1. Diving into video and posting on Youtube.
2. Adding a transcript to help people find quotes.
3. Rebranding with a clear focus.
6/ Season 2 Continued.

What will the new focus be?

Learning about the creative and productive processes of the guests.

Too many podcasts are doing the same things. @jackbutcher told me that my podcast provided new, analytical questions. I want to do this for all my guests.
7/ Apprenticeship w/ @visualizevalue

Speaking of Jack, he has been an amazing mentor ever since our podcast episode, so one day I just decided to reach out to work as an apprentice.

What did this mean?

It's kind of like a choose your own adventure mission.
8/ Choosing my own adventure.

@jackbutcher told me that he wanted me to mostly independent, pitching ideas to him, and then working on creating them.

Here is what I decided to work on 👇
9/ When I initially emailed him, I outlined a vision of:

- Creating an almanac/database of tweets.
- Working on the VV Community maildrop and eventually pivoting to the VV substack.
- Working on different events for the VV community.
- Creating a potential VV podcast.
10/ As I continue to work with him, that vision will definitely evolve and change, already I can envision myself learning about:

- Client work
- How to run an online course
- How to market your personal brand
- How to build an audience that resonates with your message
