MOVE-IN DETAILS: A THREAD

Move-in will take place over the course of 10 days, Aug. 12-22.

We've revamped our plans to make it as safe and efficient as possible.

What to expect when you arrive

STEP 1: Report to Gateway Garage.

A COVID-19 testing process will be facilitated by health care professionals.

Students will also receive two IUPUI-branded face masks and, if they test negative, will proceed to CrimsonCard pickup and move on to Step 2.

STEP 2: Students drive to the unloading zone of their residential community.

A maximum of two guests may assist each student in unloading their items and taking them to their room.

Face masks are required for EVERYONE.

You can expect the entire move-in process to take 2-3 hours.

Move-in has been set up to promote physical distancing by way of signage, stanchions, cones and limiting the number of people who move in each day.

Students who test positive for COVID-19 will be asked to return home and quarantine on the timeline provided to them by the medical professionals on-site.

Students who cannot return home will be directed to quarantine housing provided by @IUPUIHRL.

If a student or their guests are experiencing symptoms, they must stay home.

Students will be able to work with HRL to reschedule move-in when they are either confirmed negative for COVID-19 or have recovered and been approved to return by a medical professional.
