For years, Bakugou always held himself back from feeling things or expressing his feelings, but the moment Bakugou learned how to do so in more ways than he could imagine, he just could never stop.

"I love you, Eiji."
The first time he muttered those words, Kirishima was just across Bakugou, studying for the exams coming up the next week. The pale blond was staring at Kirishima feeling some sort of ticking bomb ready to explode in his chest.
Bakugou was staring at Kirishima whose lips were a little bit pouting and his red hair tied loosely with a ponytail. Bakugou was staring at Kirishima and the moment Kirishima met his gaze, the bomb's timer on his chest seemed to have suddenly stopped.

"I love you, Eiji."
He muttered for the very first time and Bakugou felt relief shower upon him. Bakugou felt like the bomb wrapped tightly on his chest was finally taken away giving way to calm and peace and all things encompassing bliss.
Bakugou expressed his feelings for the very first time and little did he know how ecstatic would he be the moment he did it. He couldn't help the small smile playing on his lips—more so when Kirishima lunged towards him only so he could wrap Bakugou into a tight and warming hug.
For a moment all Bakugou could ever hear were two heartbeats which were totally not in sync unlike in the movies. All Bakugou could focus on was the warmth of Kirishima's hug and the bliss of knowing that the feeling which he kept in for so long was actually /mutual./
Bakugou would never forget the bliss brought about by him expressing his feelings towards this sunshine of a man named Kirishima Eijirou. Bakugou would never forget the smile which radiated from his partner the moment he heard Bakugou admit his feelings for him.
So, Bakugou did what any other hopelessly in love person would do in his situation—express his feelings over and over and over again like doing any less would make his partner forget that he loves him.
Bakugou expressed his love every morning when he would wait for Kirishima just so they could walk together towards the campus.

Bakugou expressed his love every lunch time when he would have a bento prepared for the two of them to share.
Bakugou expressed his love every time he would train with Kirishima and never cease to remind him just how strong he really was.

Bakugou expressed his love every night when Kirishima would stir awake and the pale blonde would be there to lull him back to sleep.
Bakugou continued to express his love when he asked Kirishima to move in with him as soon as they have graduated because he couldn't stand not living with the man of his dreams.
Bakugou expressed his love with every cup of coffee shared in the morning, with every doughnut bought on the way home to surprise Kirishima, with every kisses on Kirishima's head when he wasn't feeling alright, and with every whisper of "I love you" every night before they sleep.
Bakugou continued to express his love even without actually saying "I love you", and Bakugou didn't need those words too just to know how much Kirishima loved him back—more so when Kirishima expressed his love one Saturday evening.
Kirishima expressed his love as he bent down on one knee with tears welling on his eyes, a ring shining from the small box which Kirishima held on his hands, and a smile full of hope and bliss and all things encompassing love for Bakugou Katsuki.
Bakugou didn't need any words to understand what Kirishima meant, the same way he didn't need any words to tell Kirishima his answer for the unuttered question.
Bakugou just pulled Kirishima up and kissed him deeply, passionately, slowly—like a fire taking its time to sit on the hearth as they fill the house with warmth. Bakugou kissed him as if he's pouring all the love that he could ever muster into that one passionate kiss.
And when Bakugou pulled away, Kirishima placed the ring on Bakugou's finger and it fit Bakugou perfectly, the same way Kirishima fit into his life like some long lost puzzle piece.
"I love you, Katsuki."

"I love you, Eiji."

And heaven knows how Bakugou Katsuki just could never stop falling in love with one Kirishima Eijirou.
