With the postponement of fixtures due to misbehaving players we find ourselves with a few non starters this week. If the game accounts for this wirh addition free transfers - ideal- however this unfair to those who do not own Aberdeen , Celtic , Mirren , Hamilton

Players do a more than likely it will be one Free Transfer and hits.
I’ve included a pic of my team above to help . It can feel like a backwards step taking a bit to replace a player, but when we know our Celtic and Aberdeen player won’t play at all in the next 2 GWs an early

hit can be benificial in the long term .
As we can see I have 3 Celtic players in my starting 11 . I don’t want to get rid of Eduard for fear of messing about with my team to the point I’ll struggle to get him back in. At 8.6 this may be tricky and rely on further hits.

If I arrange my team like this I can see 3 players who are guaranteed not to start in the next 2 GWs

All these players are guaranteed 0 points.
As I have my free transfer to remove all 3 will require a -8 . Sounds like a big hit . However even if

each of the 3 players I bring in :
1. Play over 60mins
2. Don’t get carded
That’s 2 points each , totalling 6 pts so in reality I’ve only sacrificed 2 points.
If only 1 player produces an assist ive gained 1 point
A clean sheet would see me gain 3 points
We can see it doesn’t

take much to see us back in profit.

If we take into account that these players won’t play next GW either a hit looks even more attractive . By only using a FT that leaves 2 non playing players , I then have to wait until next GW to get another FT. Which will leave 1 non starter

For GW 4 . Therefore if I take a -8 now and all players return only 2 pts each over the 2 GWs I’ve broke even.
(The reason why I count the FT initially is because it’s hard to decide which player is the FT and which 2 are the hits )
