Have never seen men condemn a rapist or an abuser as loudly and quickly as they've condemned Cardi and Meg's song about consensual sex.
It's almost like they have incentives to ignore patriarchal violence and condemn women's sexual autonomy because it preserves male privilege.

So yes we all have our actions policed in our sex negative culture. But it is influenced by factors like gender, race, class, sexual orientation, etc.

Ethical sexuality "is determined by the relationship of the act w/ at least the potential for mutual sexual desire...'By moving from consent to desire, heterosex is no longer framed as something that men do & women acquiesce to, but rather something that can be desired (or not)'
