These conversations are necessary as data shows that Black women have the highest maternal mortality rates due to bias, inaccessibility and more. There is so much more to uncover about the disparities women of color face....
It’s time to embrace these uncomfortable conversations surrounding our own #health. We will never be able to progress without active listening and a willingness to change. The process of educating and advocating for both ourselves and others begins now...
