A brief history of Ilhan Omar's antisemitic comments.

1. November 16, 2012 - "Israel has hypnotized the world"

This draws on old anti-Jewish stereotypes of a small cabal of Jews manipulating unwitting non-Jews to control the world.
2. Replying to a tweet by Glenn Greenwald implying loyalty to Israel over America, Omar tweets "It's all about the Benjamins", another antisemitic trope about Jews using wealth to control non-Jews.
3. Ilhan Omar is blocked from entering Israel on a tour with the group Miftah, which has published on its website articles which claim that Jews use the blood of Christians to make matzoh during Passover & praises suicide bombers.
4. When the editor of the Forward asked Ilhan Omar to clarify her antisemitic statement about Jews controlling politicians for Israel with a question of "who was doing it", she answered "AIPAC" antisemitically equivalent to the Soros attacks.
The forward in turn pointed out that Omar had gained a faithful follower in David Duke, who has called her the most important member of congress and has tweeted heart emojis to her for her antisemitic comments.
6. She is a staunch supporter of the BDS movement, which has been called antisemitic by politically diverse politicians. But even if you do not feel it in itself is anti-Semitic, the fact she has opposed sanctions against Iran and everyone else except Israel speaks volumes.
