On Nov 27, 2006, an entire blog was posted about: “Afro-Knee Bradley, the PCA darling, is an illiterate nigger.” From 2004-2011, I was publically racially slurred in ways no other black person in evangelicalism was. I mean zero. No a public statement. No counter article. Nothing. 7 years. I remember wondering, “Is anyone going to say anything?” That’s when I realized that I’m totally on my own. I then learned that many of these silent leaders also blackballed me from speaking at events.

I started to speak out eventually and then I was labeled “angry.” I was contacted to be “warm and winsome” so I could “be heard.” I was told that I need to first express my love for the PCA before any critique. Meanwhile, I’m simultaneous being racially slurred.

Many of you will think I’m lying & simply being “bitter/angry” but no black person at TGC, RTS, Covenant Seminary, TEDS, Gordon-Conwell, Westminster, in the PCA, OPC, SBC, T4G, CT, etc. has ever had 7 years of multiple sites like this w/no public support. http://abradleyexposed.blogspot.com/?m=1 

Seven years of racial slurs, hate mail, and harassing phone calls (yes, they would call my office). I still haven’t told my parents about it. It makes all the school loan debt I have look pretty stupid b/c I told them the Reformed world was different & worth it.

Had I gone to an HBCU & stayed fully in the black church, I probably never would have had to experience being called a “nigger” at Clemson, all the racial slurs as a professor; would have avoided two stress-related cardiac emergencies, etc. Yep, that’ll radicalized you!
