I got Inspired yesterday when @mkobach talked with @david_perell about favorite ads from childhood.

That got me thinking. What are mine?

Oo yeah, I have them all saved. And share them in this tread.

Three below this tweet is my favorite!

Enjoy.
Budweiser 2018 Super bowl commercial.

The music. The footage.
The meaning.

Worth a watch.
Ford "get unstuck" commercial.

We all struggle at some point, with some thing. Don& #39;t give up. You can figure it out.

Sound music choice.
The boy & the piano.

A gift can change a young persons life. John Lewis & Partners christmas ad demonstrated storytelling mastery.

We& #39;ve all been there, doing that thing we love, thinking back on the journey.

They nailed it. Well done.
Here& #39;s a video on the making of the above ad.

Quiet the doubters.

Shows contrast between something we all know — struggle. anxiety. frustration.

And what could be. An aspirational identity. Happy family life. More time. Less stress. More clients.

They positioned their product as the solution. Smart.

oo and the music!
Toyota dad& #39;s home.

This pulls on your heart. Family matters.

And this commercial does a brilliant job tapping into something we all know.

That we wan& #39;t to be with our loved ones during the holidays.
In each of the above commercials, we can learn something.

When you create an ad that& #39;s product focused, it& #39;s difficult to tap into the viewers soul.

Instead,

Tell stories.
Evoke Emotions.
Bring back Memories.

And you create an ad that resonates. ( @david_perell https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😉" title="Zwinkerndes Gesicht" aria-label="Emoji: Zwinkerndes Gesicht">)
