The problem with today’s society is that we want to be in tune with what is “normalized” - even if it’s not right. We’re willing to put our faith in God and his teachings aside so that we can feel like we fit in with society.
What’s even worse is that we prioritize what “makes us happy” and literally place God on a back burner. The silliest thing is that some people even know what they’re doing is morally wrong, and think that they can “just deal with it on judgement day”.
When you’re fully aware that your obsession with the material world is wrong, and that your actions are forbidden by the Most High and you make no steps to repent or even stop? This is called ignorance. There’s no excuse or justification for it.
I know people that claim to believe in God but think that it’s something that should not be discussed and left alone will feel a certain way about this thread. But it is what it is. Why are you ashamed of your belief? Believing in God and his teachings is not a private matter!
If that was the case, would he have sent down the Torah or the Qu’ran? Would he have sent Prophets?
I’m just tired of God being such a taboo topic but everyone is all good and happy to discuss nonsensical things.
