We made the very difficult decision to put Peter down last night. There were unexpected complications to his medical issue, and the doctor told us that even if we took the most aggressive route of treatment he had simply gotten to a point where his chances of coming home were

slim, and that if he did make it home the chances of this happening again where too great. It would've been cruel of us to force him to try to live with this. The doctor said we made the kindest decision for him. He was without pain or conscious when he passed.

I'm either going to dive head first into social media or I'm going to step back a bit. All I ask is that you PLEASE don't send me any Rainbow Bridge crap, I truly cannot handle that right now.
