Here is a thread on how @JoshuaABull became the #FPL 19/20 winner

1. Set-and-forget GK - Pope was the top scoring golie this season and he played all 38 gameweeks for the FPL winner

2. Faith in his premium assets - TAA (37), Salah (34), KDB (34) and Vardy (33) played almost every game for the FPL champion

3. Mo Salah was, by far, the most preferred captaincy choice, selected 15 times. Vardy was the second most captained player (7), before KDB (5), Kane (4) and Fernandes (4)

4. Along with Liverpool (92 times), Leicester´s players were most commonly used, more than the City and United assets. Vardy (33), Pereira (17), Maddison (10), Barnes (4) and Perez (3) all featured in the champion´s selected team

5. No hits taken – The FPL champion kept faith in his sqaud and did not take any hits during all season

6. 4-4-2 – The most preferred formation was used, with 4 defenders, 18 times. 3-5-2 and 3-4-3 were used 8 times each. Nevertheless the 3-5-2 formation avereged by far the most points (80), more than the 4-4-2 (61.6) and 3-4-3 (62.5) formation

Of cource you´ll need a bit luck and margins on your side to be successfull in FPL, but these choises made by the FPL winner can be a useful lesson for all of us prepering for the next season
