Alexander Lukashenko is the last dictator in Europe, the President of Belarus, who has been in power for 26 years. Every election in Belarus for 26 years has been rigged, anyone who opposed to this disappeared without a trace. He is the one who holds the entire nation in dread.

Lukashenko’s regime is brutal and authoritarian, he uses repression, the death penalty is even in effect on the territory of the country by shooting. The later presidential elections were held on August 9 2020. Five people took part in them (hovewer there could have been more,

but many candidates were not admitted, arrested, or they refused to hold part). The primary candidates for the position were Lukashenko and Svetlana Tikhonovskaya, the major opposition candidate. During the elections, democratic norms were violated, social media and

mobile networks were blocked across the country. According to the official election results, Lukashenko won 80% of the vote, while unofficial exit polls confirms (exit poll - a poll of voters at the exit from the polling station) Lukashenko gained only 10%, and Svetlana T. - 80%

The official results were admitted only by authoritarian countries such as Russia, China etc, while countries of European union did not recognize them as valid. Consequently thousands of people in different cities gathered for peaceful protests, but there are special forces that

use violent actions against peaceful citizens. Throughout Belarus, the Internet is blocked; the authorities are throwing this blame to the west. The police use tear grenades, light bombs, rubber bullets, paddy wagons drive into crowds of people.

They detain people without a reason, including all who take part in a protest or just walk by. Lukashenka himself calls the people a herd, cattle and morons.
On August 10, Svetlana Tikhonovskaya was illegally detained, and later she left the country, as she was threatened!
