The Mahabharat is one of the two epics of History of Bharat. Mahabharat is called Itihaāsa and it was written by Veda Vyasa.

The Mahabharata, meaning the great battle, narrates the epic Kurukshetra war and the fates of Pandava and Kaurava princes.
