FDA is responsible for protecting the public health by ensuring the safety, efficacy, + security of human + veterinary drugs, biological products, + medical devices; + by ensuring the safety of our nation's food supply, cosmetics, + products that emit radiation.
FDA is responsible for advancing public health by helping to speed innovations that make med products more effective, safer, + more affordable + by helping the public get the accurate, science-based info they need to use medical products + foods to maintain + improve their health
