Letting go of the exhausting default
Letting go of the exhausting default
Then using force to push the voice through that air
It takes MUCH more effort, uses more muscle, & burns conscious brain power
To fake a deep voice than to actually develop one
Faking takes more effort & uses force muscles
Actually being it you use ‘release’ muscles
It flows effortlessly with minimal energy expenditure
Instead of always sucking in, or clenching the jaw to look lean
Using control muscles wastes TONS of energy
Release muscles is effortless
...and the burden of having to manufacture the narrative of how people perceive you
This ‘controls’ you
Repression of your expression
When you have, you don’t have to fake
Making you less tense
30 extra minutes of exercise & swapping out one of your meals for a healthier version
Is all it takes to actually get, have, and be leaner
I’d come home EXHAUSTED
as if I had just been boxing or something
...but all I did was fold clothes at my job for a few hours
I was very confused
Why am I so exhausted after doing nothing exhausting?
Face & body felt exhausted
My energy to open my laptop & work on side hustle was non existent

- Faking good posture to look buff
- Faking a deeper voice
- Faking a ‘cool’ personality & calculating what to say

Reading this you might think it was obvious & cringe
But if you saw it in person it didn’t look like I was trying

To some extent yes it was being in ‘customer service mode’
but it was all using control muscles

Try to bring to awareness if you do things with control muscles
If so do research & make a plan to make that a default baseline quality
Instead of something you force
