I feel like today is a good day to drag white allies and how fast they are to "remind us" of problematic WOC while never cleaning up their own house.

I saw a tweet last night that was 500% up in the discussion that Cardi B is transphobic. Don't get me wrong: I recall clearly when she called black women roaches.

We ain't forgot.

But the reason this blows me is because these same white allies were nowhere to be found when the target was other explicitly other women of color.

This isn't by coincidence.

I remember being young and watching as no one [white] gave a flying fuck about the Lil Kim and Foxy Brown saga. I thought it was weird.

Only to watch later in life as the same people praised Miley for being a culture vulture and blaming black men for her "change"---

But she sholl did keep that bag she got in the mean time.

So when I saw this tweet about Cardi? Yep, the person was white.

And I opted not to go into that thread and remind them that Ellen is right there and been a problem long before Cardi got in the rap game.

I wasn't about to be mad.

But today ain't my birthday.
